Rawa Upma for a healthier you

While looking at the dish, one might think that the preparation would have been time consuming, but the real truth is that not only it’s easy to make but also takes way less time than one can imagine. Here is the recipe for the same:

Ingredients

Rawa, ghee, water, mustard seeds, urad dal, chana dal, onion, green chillies, cashew, curry leaves, salt.

How to

Boil water, and while that is going on slice onions and chillies. Once the onions and chillies are cut, put another pan on the stove and heat it up. Add ghee, and mustard seeds, once they are done crackling, add urad and chana dal until it gives you a golden glow. Next add onions, curry leaves, cashews and green chillies. After a minute add rawa and saute.

Now add boiling water and then salt. Mix it well till the water evaporates. Once the moisture has been absorbed, the upma is ready to be served.

Serve it with chutney, coconut chutney or even sambar or Rasam
