Maggi for your soul

Maggi is and has always been the easiest food to cook, but what if we add some indian taste to the mix!

Food for our tired soul, Maggi is and always has been the easiest and yet the most delicious thing our taste buds could think of. I believe the only reason that it actually makes so much sense to our taste buds is the fact that we associate maggi with our memories; childhood memories.

But what if we add some twist to this wonderful food? A bit of veggies, some indian masala, and that nostalgia of our childhood, definitely makes for a delicious snack. So what are you waiting for? Here is the recipe for you:

Ingredients

Oil, onion, tomato, sweet corn, broccoli, carrots, peas, salt, black pepper, red chilli powder, maggi masala, maggi, butter and water.

How to

The very first task for this tasteful maggi is to chop off all the vegetables. After that, heat up the pan with oil or butter. Once it’s heated up, add onion and saute it till it has a golden colour to it. Now add tomatoes, sweet corn, broccoli, carrots and then peas to the mix. Once the vegetables feel soft, add a teaspoon of salt, black pepper and red chilli powder according to your taste.

Now add a glass of water, and the maggi masala. Let it all boil. The next step is to add maggi. I used two maggi blocks (and ate it all) and then put the lid on the pan. Let it cook for 2-3 minutes. If you prefer your maggi to be a little soupy, then it is ready. But for people like me who want it to be just a perfect amount of wet, let it cook for one more minute and then stir.

Now all you require to do is serve it and reminisce about those beautiful childhood days of pure bliss.
