Movember – What does men need to know?

In order to raise money and awareness for research into men’s health issues like prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and mental health, people are encouraged to grow moustaches during Movember, a month-long event.

Although the foundation of Movember is the concept of growing a moustache during the month, many individuals participate in it in various ways.

No-Shave November, a concurrent month-long celebration, and Movember are frequently combined and even mistaken for one another. No-Shave November, however, is a campaign that encourages people to grow facial hair for the whole month as a way to raise money and awareness for cancer research.

In both Movember and No-Shave November, some people grow facial hair for amusement only, avoiding the charity parts of the months.

The hashtag #Movember is frequently used on social media by Movember participants.
