It was recently rumored that Motorola could roll out the Moto G51 5G in the early December of this year. Just a couple of days later, the speculations were confirmed by the company itself with a tweet. The launch is set on 10th December.

The company shared a teaser to the smartphone in the same tweet revealing the two colour choices that would be sold through Flipkart. The pricing of the device has been kept under the curtain for obvious reasons. However, we can expect it to be priced under 20,000 taking in consideration the market value of the smartphone in China.
The Moto G51 5G’s major development and highlight is the new Snapdragon 480 Plus processor. It initially went official in Europe and is now ready to set foot in India.

Display and Performance
The Moto G51 5G packs a 6.8-inch full HD Plus Mac Vision display, an aspect ratio of 20:9 with a superfast 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone features the Snapdragon 480 Plus processor. This is an octa-core processor with the maximum clock speed of 2.2 GHz. The Snapdragon 480 SoC has the same specs as the Plus but clocks a higher speed.
Storage
Motorola decided to launch the G51 5G with an 8GB RAM and a128GB internal storage capacity. There are no other said variants as of yet. The storage is expandable upto 512GB via MicroSD card.
Camera
The optics of the Moto G1 5G are a deal breaker with a 50 MP primary camera, an 8MP ultrawide lens and a 2MP macro imaging capable sensor. This elegant triple camera setup is accompanied by a 13MP front camera. This makes it an adequate choice for snapping selfies and doing video calls.
Battery and other specifications
The smartphone houses a 5,000 mAh battery with a 10W charging support. The smartphone is wrapped under a water-repellent design. It is packed with Dolby Atmos support and includes a 3.5mm headphones jack too. The fingerprint scanner is side mounted to unlock the phone.
